Do you hear them? The children of the world crying out. The hungry, the poor, the sick, the fatherless. Do you hear them, the children of the world crying out. Scared, frightened, lonely, in need of love, compassion, and help. Do you hear them when your gathering at that eatery, that special gathering with friends. Do you hear them when your making that $400.00 car payment, that credit card payment, that boat payment or ordering that extravigant home entertainment center. Do you hear them weeping, crying out, hungry, thirsty, and sick. Do you hear them when you walk the marble floors of the offices, the walkways in the malls, when you take that weekend getaway that costs thousands. Do you hear them, the children of the world crying out.
How much money can a man make and spend before he hears the cries of the children of the world? How many cars can he buy, how many houses can he own, how many things can he stuff in the closets and garage of his home and life, before he hears the cries of the children of the world.
If within your busy life, if you stop and sit in silence and seek the heart of God. You will hear Him weeping for the children of the world.
