Your Husbands Salvation

“Remember that ‘the battle is the Lord’s’ (I Samuel 17:47) and earnestly give the salvation of your mate to God in prayer. Early on in your conversion it seems easier to be hopeful concerning your husband’s salvation. You will need an added measure of faith as the years go by.”

This book discuses the ups and downs of being married to someone who doesn’t share your passion for Jesus. Living in peace with God and your spouse is essential to keeping your joy intact and your hope alive.

Mission Possible is a book of encouragement for women.

The Seven Golden Candlesticks

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

The Prophetic Time Clock

Look around our world and see the wars, rumors of wars, starvation, death, destruction, famines, economic problems, diseases, hatred, weather pattern changes, love waxing cold, earthquakes, and kingdom against kingdom. Look around as see the millions that are dying, the millions of unborn that are being denied their God given right to live. Look around and see.

Deu 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Matthew Chapter 24 - The prophetic time clock is ticking and Christ is soon to return.

Prayer Ministry Time, Scriptural Or Show

Every church that I have ever attended had a prayer ministry. Prayer is one of the heart beats of the church. Prayer is important, and Jesus said "My House shall be called a house of prayer". There are many scriptures in the Bible that speak of prayer from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelations. There are many accounts of Christ praying, the Apostles praying, and also many accounts within the old testament about prayer.

Prayer in many ways is the lifeline of our communication with God. Through prayer we communicate with God, make our requests known to Him, enter into His presence and stand the gap as watchmen for others. It is good to pray for others. In fact, it is a humble privilege to pray for others.

In the book of Acts prayer and the laying on of hands are mentioned in various sections of scripture. In many church's today prayer and the laying on of hands is actively pursued and the ministry of the Holy Spirit flows freely.

Actually God made prayer very simple. It doesn't take some spiritual giant to pray for people. It just takes a willing vessel to step out in faith and allow the Holy Spirit to be the Holy Spirit. It's when fear, lack of faith, a religious spirit, the precepts of men and having a good church service show gets in the way and hinders the Holy Spirit, that prayer ministries become in affective. That well scripted situations.

It amazes me how we sometimes turn the Kingdom of God into this well micro managed process as if we could add something to it. It amazes me how we sometimes take the simplest of things and make them difficult and within that process diminish the power of such and the anointing of God among us. I somehow don't think Jesus had that in mind.

Christian Music

Thank God for all the wonderful Christian artists, musicians and song writers that give us such awesome praise and worship music. Just imagine a church service without great worship music to worship the Lord to. Personally for me without praise and worship, I'd be lost. Over the years, we all have been blessed through various artists, groups and worship songs. I'm sure that you have your favorite artists, groups and various praise and worship songs.

Here are some great sites that showcase some great praise and worship music. One is Christian Music which has an excellent website. Another is Vineyard Music which is one of my favorites and another is Maranatha Music which is also another excellent ministry site.

Remember, it is good to worship the Lord.

The Best It Yet To Come

All things are possible with God and I believe that for those who trust Christ, the best is yet to come. Yes Rome may be encountering problems, but for those who are a part of God's Kingdom here on earth, I believe the best is yet to come.

May your faith be increased and may the Holy Spirit encourage you in the fact that God is seated on the Throne and is in control. Have a blessed day, week and years end as 2009 soon comes to a close. May your holiday season be filled with love, peace and joy and may Christ arise in your hearts.

Change Course And Enjoy The Beauty Of Life

There's nothing worse than bad hair day people. People that are always looking for some dramatic situation to unfold to make their day seem worth wild. People that are always gossipping about the latest, meddling in other peoples affairs, pointing fingers at others, judging and creating drama. I just don't understand that mind set. As if peace, happiness and joy escape them. What kind of life is that?

Life is beautiful, it is wonderful and it is filled with wonder. Yes, there are those days, weeks and sometimes seasons, but why with intent create difficulties and hardships. Why light the fire, place the skillet on it and jump into the skillet. And the worst part, why expect others to jump into the skillet with you.

Trade your bad hair day mentality in for days of peace, balance, and sound mind.

Expanding Into Greater Depths Of God's Heart

Did you know that the name Jesus occurs 983 times in 942 verses in the KJV Bible? That is a lot of times within a lot of verses. Did you know that the word Lord occurs 7970 times in 6749 verses in the KJV and that God is mentioned 4473 times in 3893 verses in the KJV?

Studying the Bible can be both exciting and rewarding. Performing word searches can also be exciting, rewarding and can really expand your knowledge of scripture. Take for example the word love. If you were to perform a word search on the word love and study only those scriptures whereas the word love is mentioned. You'd get quite a overview of all the scriptures regarding love.

It's easy, fun and worth performing word searches. Simply visit www.blueletterbible.com and have fun.

Prayer Request For Our Brothers And Sisters Around The World

As Christian's we have a calling to pray for our brothers and sisters around the world. Within the body of Christ which goes much farther than your local church, there are missionaries serving in other countries around the globe. Just imagine serving in a country and land where there may be no running water, adequate food or housing. Just imagine serving in a country that was just hit by a earthquake, floods or where disease is in full swing. I have heard many stories about missionaries and what they encounter while overseas.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in the mission fields and consider supporting them as they serve others in love.

The Holy Righteous God Of Mercy

There are many that see God as this Holy Righteous God of judgement. God is Holy, Righteous and a God of judgment, however God is also a God of love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. When God sent Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the world, God made a way for us to receive forgiveness. When we except the fact that Christ died on the cross for our sins and that through Christ we have forgiveness of sins, we start to understand and see that God is a God of love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. Now that's good news!

Let us seek the God of mercy.

In The Evil Day, Stand

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Blessings, in the love of God

The Fruit Of Eating Too Much

OK, I went and did it. I ate way too much dinner and am reminded of why I don't like to eat too much. Considering I skipped breakfast (dumb), didn't eat lunch (even dumber) maybe that's why I put three plates away at dinner. Ouch! Way too much food. I am reminded of the many posts I have written about balance, living a healthy life and taking time. Hypocrite, as it seems that my flesh just got the best of me. OK, I will repent, right after a bowl of ice cream.

It is written that the spirit and the flesh war one against the other. Right now there's a war going on in my stomach which is the consequences of missing two meals while trying to make up for them all in one. As our pastor would say: "We are all just dumb sheep". Bahhhh !!!!

Blessings, and have a great day.

Charity Organizations

There are endless charity organizations out there. There's no doubt that we all have many opportunities to be a blessing to others through various charity organizations. One that comes to mind is "Feed The Children'. That is one organization that always touches my heart. They provide much needed food and services for millions around the world that do not have.

Another organization that is a worthy organization is "Operation Shoe Box". They distribute Christmas decorated show boxes to churches and other organizations to be filled with toys and other items for children, pick them up and ship them worldwide. Regardless of the charity, whether it's local, national or worldwide. There are many great charities out there to choose from.

An Hour A Day Brings Knowledge

Do you like learning about things? They say that knowledge is powerful when applied properly. From experience over the many years of my life, I have found that my pursuit in learning about simple things like auto mechanics, writing, graphic designs and the Internet has helped me many times and saved me lots of money.

Just imagine if you picked a subject or topic and Googled it every day and read about it for one hour each day. One year later, you would have 356 hours of studies around that one topic. Maybe you could pick something that has to do with your career, your family, raising children, or about art or painting. Just imagine all the knowledge and information you would gain. Now just think of something dear to you or interesting and go for it.

It's fun to Google different subjects.
Remember, prayer is powerful.

People Are Sometimes Like Roses

Roses are beautiful and have a wonderful smell. Of course the stem is lined with thorns and those thorns can hurt. What part of the rose are you. The beautifully colored flower that gives off a wonderful smell or the stem lined with all the thorns. One way to tell is by how many friends you have? Are people attracted to you. Do you make people smile? Do people love hanging around with you? Or do they stay away from you?

It is better to be a rose than a rose stem.

When Faith & Hope Grows Cold

There is nothing worse that when faith and hope grow cold. As believers we are dependant upon God's Spirit moving in our lives. When God's Spirit ceases to move in our lives, it's because we have gotten off course, strayed away from God, and His plans and purposes. The end result can be faith and hope grown cold. When that happens, we must return unto the Lord and get back in tune with our first love. We must recognise how we got off course, why we got off course and see the error of our ways. When we do, as we repent and change course, God again renews us.

You see God will never forsake us or leave us, therefore why would we want to forsake or leave Him.
